Discover Moulin Amour
In the Middle Ages, there were 17 mills in the Oison valley, owned by noble landlords. Today, the Moulin Amour, named after its last miller, is the last one in existence.
Its bucket wheel was reconstructed in 1992, based on the original wheel. At this time, it's the only one known of in Eure. The stones grind organic seeds to make wholemeal flour. You will love the authentic flours milled on the premises.
Stroll through the rooms inside the mill to view temporary exhibitions. Then during a guided tour, you will discover the miller's work and his influence on our history.
After the visit we invite you to take our nature discovery trail to explore biodiversity in the varying natural environment of our pond, marshland, forest and meadows.
Then come experience our kitchen and aromatic gardens, there you will find many forgotten vegetables, herbs and organic gardening tips.
The wheel

Exposures
Exhibitions for the enhancement of regional heritage, are presented in the mill around the machinery running. They cover subjects such traditional trades, flax, cooking, birds, aromatic and medicinal plants… Many objects, loan from private collections and museums, enliven and complement the topics covered.
A rental service
